Hello fellow student!
My name is Paul and I will be talking about Ruth Wakefield. Do you know who she is and what she did?

If you don’t know stay on.
She was born in 1905 and died in 1977. She lived between Boston and New Bedford. She owned her mothers restaurant. The restaurant called Toll House Restaurant is a Toll House and it became the THE CHOCOLATE COOKIES invention.

She invented chocolate chip cookies by using left over bread dough. When she invented it, it was late at night after she had finished her shift. The next day she made some of her clients taste it and they found it so good that they told the newspaper to write an article in the news about chocolate chip cookies.
