Hi my name is Jimmy Ruck I will be talking about Marion Donovan the inventor of the disposable diapers. Marion Donovan born in Fort Wayne Indiana in 1917 and was a housewife and the mother of two children. Marion’s daughter wore a solid cloth diaper and this was when Marion became frustrated by the repetitive task of changing her youngest child’s soiled cloth diapers. From there, she decided to create a water proof diaper cover to kept the area around the baby dry and it was made out of a shower curtain.
