Okay this will help you out a little, with any Japanese words, I may use in my Fanfic.

{Hai}
Hai means Yes, or Yeah or in some fanfics Sure, it's the way it's used in a sentence.

{Gomen Nasi}
Gomen Nasi basiclly mean "I'm Sorry", Gomen by it's self means "Sorry".

(Nani)
Nani means "What?" as in a question.

(Baka)
Baka can mean a few things.... What it basicly means is "Fool", or "Idiot" it depends how it's used in a sectence.. some times, it can mean "Stupid".

(Nooto)
Nooto, means Notebook.

(Hanashi)
Hanashi means Story.

(Sakana)
Sakana means Fish.

(Yasai)
Yasai, means Vegetable. (Vegeta is not a japanese word)

(Mono)
Mono means "Thing" or "Object"...... it depends how you use it a sentence.
