Hi, I am Mara Whitehorse. I seriously doubt that you know me beacuse technically I do not exist. I created this site to share my love of fantasy.

Fantasy races are races of intelligent, for the most part, beings that somewhat resemble humans but have their own way of life and look different.
For example the Elves. Elves have been portrayed as humans though smarter, longer lived, and much fairer. Elves are often portrayed as having innate magic, good or evil.
Another example of a fantasy race resembling humans would be the Dwarves. Dwarves are humanlike but shorter and thicker. They are good miners, craftsmen, and warriors.
Fairies are another example of a fantasy race. They are human-like yet the size of a human hand. Fairies are portrayed as beautiful slender creatures with thin beautiful wings.

Fantasy creature I have always found to be very interesting. My favorite creatures of fantasy are Dragons, great winged serpants, Hell Hounds, fearsome cannines roaming the underworld, Kraken, enormous tentacled sea creatures that crush ships at sea, Leviathan, a fearsome fire-breather from the Bible (Job 41). Some more include Lorelei, beautiful water spirits that lure men to thier doom, and Rocs, enourmous birds capable of carrying numerous grown men on thier backs.
