Wow, it has been years since I have updated this page. It is now May of 2004 and I am typing this during my last day of high school. I will graduate May 30, closing yet another chapter of my life. The door that was opened when I attended my first Moffatt concert continues to stay open because of the awe I was in when I realized that I could be anything that I wanted to be--something The Moffatts had taught me. I will forever be grateful to them and I wish them all the luck in the world with whatever they pursue in the future. As for now, I have no more Moffatt updates and I don't know when I will...but for all you Moffatteers that still check my page every now and then, keep in mind that the Moffatts will always be the 4Ms even if they are not together anymore. I am moving on to college life now...a short 8 years since 1996 when I first met the Moffatts. For all of you out there, keep on truckin' for life is not life until YOU have lived it! ~~Stephanee Lee 5.24.04
It's now September of 2002 and it's time to update this Moffatt website. As many of you already know the Moffatts are no longer a quartet. The boys have broken up to pursue personal aspirations. Many of their fans will miss the concerts, albums, chats, and radio and television appearances, but all of their fans will never forget them and they'll support them through whatever they choose to do in the future. As of now, Clint and Bob are singing with another band called Pusch, Scott is performing with a band called Boston Post and Dave is unviewed, supposedly he is going to take a break from music to go to college. (No definite plans have been released to my knowledge.) The Moffatts, as I stated before, made a big impact in my life, and even if they aren't together, they will continue to be an inspiration to me, because at a young age, they taught me to believe in my dreams and that whatever I wanted to do in life, I could do. I believed this because they were living their dreams, that meant I could do the same. I learned from example. I will never forget the 4M's and I will never forget all the traveling I did and I will never forget the love and bonding I shared with my family while I lived every young girl's dream. I definetly know I was lucky...and I would never take any of this for granted. ~~Stephanee 09.25.02
Hey everyone! This is Stephanee, it's been a really long time since I have updated this page. As you all know, I was a huge Moffatt fan, but now, as many of you know, there is no longer The Moffatts. The band has broken up, but Scott, Clint, and Bob have persued a career in the music industry. Clint and Bob are in a group called Pusch and Scott is part of a band called the Boston Post. I will update this page as I learn more information on these two bands PLUS if anything happens with Dave.** June 28, 2002
Hi! I`m Steph Lee! I am a big fan of the Moffatts! I have been to 109 Moffatt concerts! I have traveled from my home in Iowa to Florida to Canada! I have made many new friends! I have become very good friends with the Moffatts and my favorite is Dave! I have gone bowling with them 2 times, played Lazor Tag, ate several times with them, gone backstage, been kissed in "I Think She Likes Me" and "It`s A Wonderful World", ice skating, and I have had front row seats at all shows except for 2! They are a great group of boys and they are great role models! As of right now, The Moffatts are in LA recording Chapter 2! We are all excited about the release, and now that Chapter 1 has finally been released here in the States, we are excited to hear the new songs. They are supposed to also be starting a U.S. and Canada tour, which will be nice for us fans that have supported them all the way. I, myself, like I mentioned earlier have been to 109 of their concerts since April 23, 1996 and I have always supported them, in the U.S. or not. I have not seen another musical group show such encouragement and determination as I have seen these 4 boys do within 4 and a half years. They have worked so hard, they have earned everything they have recieved. They show so much determination toward Saying 'No' to drugs and being whatever you wanna be. They show people how to reach their goals and achieve them as well. They have encouraged so many people to go out there and do whatever they want to do and be whatever they want to be. I know they will go far in life with such a positive attitude! :)
I have, as I mentioned earlier, met them quite a few times outside of shows and I believe that they are just normal teenage boys who love to have fun like you and me. Most people think only their teenage daughters will like them, but thats not true at all. Mothers and Fathers enjoy their musical talents. They show so much energy on and off stage that it is just amazing. They know how to entertain a crowd. So, if you ever get the chance to see them perform, GOOOOO! I know you will enjoy yourself.
I finally updated this page after a while and I would like to start my preposition with a proposal to The Moffatts and their US release of Chapter 1, hope it goes gold and you recieve all the publicity you deserve! The Moffatts play a major role in my life as far as my musical internship is concerned because they are great role models and they have earned my admiration. They are not another one of those boy bands, like N SYNC and BSB, they are musicians. They play thier own instruments, write their songs, and perform their songs in perfect harmony. I can't say I have ever seen a group of boys do something they dreamed about and actually succeed at it as well. The Moffatts have gone from "Caterpillar Crawling" to going "Crazy" in record sales, publicity, fans, and gaining admiration around the world and again. Why do I enjoy this band soo much? I respect them for going out and reaching their dreams and feeling confident enough that when they go on that stage, attend that photo shoot, appear at that premiere they will have respect for the people around them and for themselves. Where alot of singers have to have something done to themsleves to feel accepted by the music world, The Moffatts are themselves. They sing about what life is like for them and they act as they would. They don't feel they have to have plastic surgery etc.. to be the new "teen sensation". They know they can be themselves and be respected for that.
I know they have alot of fans and thats great, but some fans are not true fans. True fans will stick by the side of a band through the good times and the bad. After their last concert in the US in 1997, many fans stopped being because they left to achieve higher hopes and dreams overseas, where the true fans stayed true and were here to welcome them back in 1998. This, being the Millenium and all, marks what I call Moffatt Rendition because they are starting over again in the US and gaining fans back, where they never lost me though.
But, what I am getting at is they are a great influence and a great society marker and I know they will go far in life because of the attitude that they have and the respect they have for themselves and others.
