Shannon Miller has a great Personallty doing gymnastics or not.Shannon was a member of THE FIRST EVER OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL TEAM.Shannon was Co-Grand Marshall of the 1997 Rose Bowl Parade with Carl Lewis.Shannon met a guy by the name of Chris Phillps at college.Someone had given Chris her phone number but he waited one month until he called.When he did call they talked for hours on the phone.He never once mentioned her being a famous gymnast.He treated her like a person not someone famous.Thats what she liked about him.
She likes to be treated like someone that lives next door.

There first date was terrible.They didn't hate each other.Shannon is a shy person and Chris tried to carry on a conversation and it was hard for him.There second date was on Valentines' Day.Two years later Shannon,Chris,Ron and Claudia(her parents)were eating a nice chinese dinner.Chris decided to slip a piece of paper in Shannon's and her parents's forunate cookies.Her parent's opened there's first.There's said;May I have Shannon's hand in marriage?They grew quite with a look on there face.When Shannon opened hers she squealed.Her's said Shannon will you marry me?Shannon looked at Chris and he got on one knee ,asked her then slipped the ring on her finger.

Shannon and chris were married on
June 22,1999.
