~*an ode to my opinions*~

Age: 15From: Menomonee Falls, WI

Hey guys, thanks for coming to my page! Check out the links, poems, and 'Thought Of The Day.'

I'D LIKE TO THANK:
~Rebecca for helping me with Internet stuff
~Carrie for getting me hooked on the movie 'Hackers'
~Sarah for inspiring my creative side (you do, ya know!)

THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
At the suggestion of my very good friend Sarah Clark, I have a bit of advice for everyone: Do one thing everyday that scares you.

Bookmark These!

BoltThis is the coolest on-line organization! There's email, boards, chat rooms, TV and music reviews, and bolt notes. I go on almost every day to talk to my 'bolt buddies!'
The Complete X-Files PageThis site is very extensive, with a LOT of pics, interviews, articles, and episode guides. Also, you can get it in French if you're really bored.
BeCkErS Music WorldThis is my best friend Rebecca's site. It has a lot of info on Hanson, Admiral Twin, Everclear, Britney Spears, and music in general. It has some really neato graphics and stuff!! (Good job!)
Mystic Planet presents Original PoetryThis is a cool page with five or six good poems on it. The poems really make you think, but they're not hard to understand or anything. My favorite one is 'Melody of the Whole.'
Over The RainbowThis site has a ton of free clipart. You can use it on your webpage or even your own computer. The backgrounds are the best.

My Message to the World

LIFE DANCE ~unknown

Life is a great dance,
a great play of elements;
of emerging and submerging and
mingling together and splitting apart,
of remembering and forgetting,
and andvancing and retreating.
It is a continual dying and birthing,
and multiplying and dividing
and adding and subtracting.

Life goes on unendingly.
It doesn't stop or care
or make sense in human terms.
It is wild and dangerous
and exciting and boring.
Life is a huge drunken ecstasy
of multitudinous individual parts that,
undulating in their individual dances,
are unconscious of the root,
the unity that bind them all
and from which they spring foreward,
dance in, and retire into.

This one Life, this one Being,
what a mystery!
It speaks to itself thingking that it is another!

UNTITLED ~Jewel Kilcher

I saw a woman
whose teeth were
straight like
White picket fences
Until she looked
at her husband~
Then they looked like
Shattered windows.

THE LAST UNICORN ~Jimmy Web

When the last eagle flies over the last crumbling mountain,
And the last lion roars at the last dusty fountain,
In the shadow of the forest, though she may be old and worn,
They will stare, unbelieving, at the Last Unicorn.

When the first breath of winter, through the flowers is icing,
And you look to the north, and the pale moon is rising,
And it seems like all is dying, and would leave the world to mourn
In the distance, hear the laughter, of the Last Unicorn,

I'm alive...I'm alive...

When the last moon is cast, over the last star of morning,
And the future has past over without even a last desperate warning,
Then look into the sky where through the clouds a path is formed
Look and see her, how she sparkles, it's the Last Unicorn,

I'm alive...I'm alive...
