There are many of you out there curious about Witchcraft and Wicca. Some may even be scared of it. But the truth is, you don't have to be afraid. Most people think Wiccans worship the devil. The Devil is strictly in the Christian bible. Witches do not worship the devil. We don't cast bad spells on people (although some may) because of the three fold law. This is basically if you do a bad spell, it will come back 3 times worse. And the Wiccan Rede: "And it harm none, do what thou will." Witches have been given a very bad name. A lot of the movies have been a part of this. For example, I walked into a bookstore and asked where the Witch book section was, and the worker said, "Oh you don't need those, Witches are all played out and everything." I couldn't believe my ears, this was a Faith, a Religion. I was with a friend and we turned and left. I haven't bought a book from there since. But there are a lot of peole out there realizing the "Old Ways" and many are turning to Wicca, but I am not asking you to, but just to have a better understanding of who we really are. I started reading about it and getting interested in 7th grade. I read books and books and realized i felt comfortable and fit right in. I decided i was a practicer about 2 years later and keep up with the Sabbats. Since I'm in school, it's hard to do most of the things, but Wicca and the Earth is around your everyday life. Take time to really look at a plant, gaze at the moon, watch the sunset and you're helping and getting in tune with your spiritual side. Please feel free to email me with questions or help, I am still learning more everyday! *Thanks for visiting*
A great site that helps you find others in your area and shops and Covens.
