Story 1... Karma and the Manual

Chap. 1

I was a regular 6th Grader with a regular hall pass. I was walking to the girls’ room when my best friend Aaron walked out of the boys’ room and he said “my house at 7:00” I said “I’ll be there!” I dropped the hall pass and it turned into a book! It was a manual on How to Get Through a Single School Year. It had 983 pages of 6th Grade homework excuses (good and bad ones!) but more then just homework excuses! Way more like, let’s see there were reasons for being late reasons to cut school; this is going to come in handy!



When I got to Aaron’s house I showed the manual to him he wanted to borrow it! Why would I give a guy a perfectly good 6th Grade manual? I would if he paid me but he doesn’t get enough allowance to do that!

Aaron has too many manuals already but none like this! He has skate boarding for dummies, How to study and why study, and helpless sisters. HA HA



I wasn’t crazy enough to show my mom but I did show my brother Noah he wasn’t interested at all! I couldn’t believe he saw how happy I was and it didn’t faze him at all! [JERK!!!] high school-ers don’t get it do they?



That day I used a late excuse that actually worked I needed it because my alarm didn’t ring! I used… I had family conflict and I got stuck in traffic on my way to school. (pretty lame if you ask me!) But that’s just me at least Mr. Dorhon bought it! And even with out a note!







Chap 2.





That Thursday I played hooky because I was going to a concert and I wanted to get ready. But I still read the manual! So many cool, cool, coolie excuses and notes and reasons to do bad or worse things! It was so cool but I still wonder WHO WROTE IT? That was sooooo weird it’s like this

“survival book” just came out of the blue! Well I guess it did I mean it was a regular every day use Johidden Middle School hall pass! Why did this happen? How did it happen? It’s not even logical for this to happen!



After school Aaron came over with his history class notes and a load of work for me! I didn’t do it right away I waited until I got in trouble for not doing it! It was easy work so I was done in minutes!



After Larraine got back from gymnastics class she came over with English and social studies note for me to copy. UGH!



I didn’t show Larraine the manual yet. I didn’t want to rush things I know her and she would have it all over the news! Her and her big mouth!



At the concert I got to chill with U2!!!!!!!!







Chapter 3.





Friday went by sooooooo fast and before anyone knew it, it was Saturday! I had lacrosse on Saturday. It was a game. I hate games. I hate games because I’m the only one who scores! And it’s sooooooooo boring



After the game I went over to Larraine’s to work on our Solar System report. I was a Math wiz but was HORRIBLE in science. After we finished the stupid report we went over to the Style Shack to look at the cool new hip-huggers there. I ended up getting them Larraine was jealous. But she’ll get over it!





That night I slept over at Larraine’s house and I showed her “it” she went INSAINE! She called in her mom so I had no choice but to show her! AH! I was going to show her brother Eric anyway so that didn’t matter at all.



Sunday… The day I was going to show my mom............ WHY DID I DO THIS!? You probably can guess what happened… She said Karma Liz McHorngee that was irresponsible. And I should have handed it in to Principal Jodeelee. BLAH BLAH BLAH



On Monday I woke up and reached for the manual and it was G-O-N-E GONE…



Chapter 4.





I looked everywhere up, down, left, right. NO MANUAL! I was so upset I couldn’t help but to cry. My Manual that would lead me through my dark 6th Grade days… GONE I went downstairs to eat breakfast and then I went out to catch the bus. Turns out that I missed the bus because I didn’t run like I usually do. I walked 3 miles and and actually got there on time almost like magic as if… as if the clock turned backwards! The day went on and on forever and ever never stopped by the time the bell rang I was ready to pass out. When I got home I did my homework. It seemed like every thing took 100 times longer without my manual. I wanted to die and wake up when I got in to Harvard University.



When I went to the kitchen for dinner I saw my dog Foxi chewing “it”… “FOXI!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I screamed I was furious! With that stupid little pup! I felt as if I was the earthquake being taken over by a tsunami.



I was out of control! I couldn’t help it, it wasn’t lost it was ruined! My dumb dog is guilty! Why me why why why why why me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



I brought the shredded book to school brought it to where I found it and I cried into it and… it was fixed! FIXED! IT REALLY WAS FIXED! And it had 983 pgs. Again! YEA!
