With blood all over her sleeve.
She knew it was time to leave.
She didn’t know how but she certainly knew why.
She couldn’t help but break down and cry.
I tried to stop her but I couldn’t.
Put down the knife, she wouldn’t.
I told her to stop and to listen to me,
But before I could say a word,
The screaming I heard.
One thing’s for sure,
Her life wasn’t a bore.
Although it was filled with pain and misery,
